Quotations should be minimal, if any.

Important Video Clip Advisory Note:
This assignment involves watching a video clip from the movie “Crash” (“R” Rated) which includes a male police officer inappropriately body frisking a female, which some people might find too disturbing to complete the assignment. Therefore, an alternative video clip is provided as explained below.
Part A
Primary Post: (6 Points): Due Sunday October 9th by 11.59 p.m.
Review the AUR and Communicative Action frameworks for applying the critical approaches’ metaphor of power struggle. This material is in Module 7 under the “power struggle metaphor” which is the guiding metaphor for the critical and feminist approaches.
Watch the video clip from the movie “Crash” at https://vimeo.com/cdlvideo/review/130450406/8e82edd0e0 (Links to an external site.)Enlaces a un sitio externo. If you find the video clip from the movie “Crash” too disturbing to complete the assignment, an alternative is a news report video clip of an incident involving a United Airlines and a passenger (it includes a very brief part showing blood) available at https://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=united+airline+passenger+dragged&view=detail&mid=B00C9E1D8BEA81628551B00C9E1D8BEA81628551&FORM=VIRE (Links to an external site.)Enlaces a un sitio externo.
This alternative can be used as a legitimate substitute for the video clip from the “Crash,” but it must also be cited and referenced in APA style.
3. For each framework above, describe one example (from the video clip) of behavior that represents each dimension. Therefore, you will describe a total of six examples. For example, for the dimension “avowals” in the Communicative Action framework, you could describe how a character’s behavior shows a lack of sincerity in the way he/she communicates during any of the interactions shown in the video clip. It is possible that some behaviors overlap the frameworks. Repetition of some details across the two frameworks is fine.
4. Search the internet and locate an artifact (e.g., article or video clip) which is similar to the above “Crash” movie in depicting a “power struggle” (the artifact must be from a credible source). Post a link to the artifact and briefly explain why you believe it is a match. Make sure the link works (after you have posted it, check to make sure it is functional).
5. Before posting your work (#3 & #4) here, make sure to submit it at this site so Turnitin can check for plagiarism and how original your writing is. If the Turnitin report shows a similarity index of 15% and above, check the report and make necessary changes in your writing (except standardized content such as names of concepts or titles). If you cannot reduce the similarity index to below 15% due to standardized content, include an explanation with your submission. Grading of this assignment will not proceed without your submission at the site for Turnitin processing.
Writing Requirements for both Parts A and B: (2 Points)
Grammar and spelling count.
Make sure to clearly identify the framework and dimension or concept you are illustrating (e.g., you can use bold font to highlight the concept).
Paraphrase instead of quoting sources. Quotations should be minimal, if any.
Internal citations (in-text citations) and a reference list all in APA 7th edition for students are required in both the primary post and responses.
